In Turin there is a place where good food meets solidarity, creating an experience that goes far beyond dining. Chinino Food, founded in 2016, is much more than a restaurant: it is a project of support, hospitality and inclusion, where the passion for taste becomes a universal language capable of bringing people together.

A kitchen open to everyone

At the heart of Chinino Food lies the idea of encounter. Here, many different abilities work side by side to create dishes that tell not only a story of flavors, but also of sharing and social value. Every course is the result of the collaboration between the staff of Cooperativa Paradigma and the nearly 100 extraordinary people who bring life to La Fabbrica del Chinino – a day center and inclusion hub that has been active in Turin since 1987.

The restaurant is therefore a place where the skills of people with disabilities are valued and transformed into a richness for the whole community.

Our experience at the table

During our visit, we chose two main dishes that stood out for their balance and authenticity:

  • Lasagna with Toma cheese and zucchini, creamy and delicate, perfect for those who love the authentic flavors of tradition with a twist;

  • Tagliatelle del Chianino with sausage and eggplant, a dish with bold, hearty flavors that embodies Italian cuisine at its most rustic and genuine.

Of course, dessert could not be missed: a classic tiramisu, a refreshing melon gelée, and the ever-comforting chocolate salami. Three different choices, all with the same goal: to bring joy to those who taste them.

Adding to the charm was the lovely outdoor seating area, bright and welcoming, ideal for enjoying the experience calmly, whether with friends or family.

A restaurant that is also a project

Chinino Food is not just a place to eat well: it is a factory of relationships, a space where food becomes a tool for social inclusion. Each dish served is tangible proof that together, we can create things that are good, beautiful, and meaningful.

If you’re in Turin and want to live a culinary experience that combines taste, community, and solidarity, Chinino Food is a stop you shouldn’t miss.
